CoNECT can help support your faculty in terms of student career support. Strong partnerships and lines of communication between UBD faculty/staff and CoNECT can help to combine our resources to support our student’s career needs.
Many students often rely on faculty members and staff to help them make decisions on whether they should continue into further studies and what career paths they should pursue. Due to the ever changing and expanding world of employment thanks to better technology and growing economies, it can become increasingly difficult to help with these decisions and to keep up to date with current information.
CoNECT can arrange for career service advisors to deliver workshops and seminars at your faculty on a wide range of professional career preparation topics to a class or group of students. Here they can offer advice and guidance on achieving career goals and discuss course-focused career programs. Get in touch with us to make a request and learn more about the topics available.
- Employers engage with us to express their interest in reaching out to students at various faculties. We can arrange for employers interested in hiring your students to visit your faculty and arrange employer days, workshops and seminars on campus, enhancing student awareness and career knowledge.
- Become familiar with CoNECT’s services and encourage students to visit us and use our facilities. We are here to help support students with advice, skills and opportunities so please promote us and the resources that we can offer.
- Please let us know if you are planning on having an activity at your faculty such as an exhibition or event that CoNECT could become involved with and help support.
- Please let us know if you have any vacancies or posts available that students and alumni could apply for. This can involve part-time, volunteering and full time vacancies.
